Writer’s Critique Groups

October 20 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Greetings, fellow writer.

Do you seek to someday have a short story published in a literary magazine? Do you dream of finally finishing that novel that’s been living in the back of your head for the past few years now?

Congratulations, because you’ve found what you’ve been looking for, and it won’t cost you a dime. We’re The People’s Colloquium, a nonprofit community of aspiring writers who seek to help each other grow and perfect our art. We’re open to any genre, fiction or nonfiction. Learn how to receive and give the feedback that is so essential to the success of any author. Whether it’s the first step in your literary journey or the thousandth, take the next one with our trained facilitators and dedicated community of writers.

If this will be your first attendance, please contact us at josueeh3@gmail.com to arrange a date to observe one of our critique groups in action. In your email, tell us a bit about yourself: What are you working on right now? What are your goals as a writer? We’ll respond with meeting information and details for your attendance. At the moment, we’re meeting online only due to the pandemic, but don’t let that stop you. With the click of a button, you can download Zoom and start participating in a workshop within minutes. Please note that most of our attendees DO NOT sign up weekly through meetup.com; instead, after an initial meeting, they sign up on our website: https://peoplescolloquium.org/
